The Venue
Located amidst the vineyards of the Kumeu Valley just 20 minutes from Auckland city, Kumeu Valley Estate contains an outdoor ceremony area, a modernised farm house and a barn complete with an outdoor patio.

Weather
February is New Zealand is regarded as the month with the best weather. On average the high temperature is about ~25C (78F) and the lows are around ~16C (61F). Most days are warm and sunny, though make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen as the "burn time" is between 10am and 2pm each day!
Takapuna Accommodation
Takapuna is a thriving hub on the water with boutique shopping, nightlife and great views of Rangitoto, a massive island-volcano situated in the harbour.
Since Auckland covers a large amount of area, we recommend guests stay in an area called Takapuna. It is a twenty minute drive to Auckland City as well as the venue. Additionally, there will be a pre-booked coach taking the overseas guests back to their accommodation in the Takapuna area after the wedding.
Car Rental
While Auckland City has some public transportation, in order to get around and sight-see, a car is strongly recommended. Renting a car at the airport will allow you to get around and see everything with ease.
